Pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/697 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter also referred to as the "Regulation" or "GDPR") and which repeals Directive 95/46/EC, we inform you that the data you voluntarily make available to SIRP (Italian Society of Pediatric Research) will be processed in compliance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data and, in any case, the principles of confidentiality that inspire the activity of SIRP.
The personal data you have made available to SIRP may be used to inform you of the activities envisaged in its statute and/or send you our newsletter containing informative and promotional/advertising communications, including commercial communications, by any means, including, by way of example and not limited to, post, internet, telephone, e-mail, MMS, SMS by SIRP or its Executive Secretariat.
The processing of your personal data will be carried out using suitable paper, electronic and/or telematic tools, with logic strictly related to the purposes described above and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the same.
Within SIRP, your personal data may be disclosed to the following individuals belonging to SIRP who are directly involved in the activity for which you have given your consent, the Data Protection Officer, the Managers and those in charge of processing personal data designated by SIRP in the exercise of their functions. In pursuing the aforementioned purposes, SIRP may also avail itself of the following categories of individuals who may also be disclosed to your personal data: qualified individuals who provide SIRP with services or services instrumental to the purposes set out above, individuals and companies that may be called upon to manage and/or participate in the management and/or maintenance of our websites and electronic and/or telematic tools, companies that may be called upon to manage and/or participate in the management and/or processing of data for administrative and accounting purposes. In order to carry out certain activities, SIRP may need to communicate some of your data to Public Administrations, public and private funding bodies and/or external parties it trusts (legal, tax, accounting consultants, etc.) who will use them to manage procedures necessary for the provision of services and/or contributions, planning, reporting, auditing and training activities.
Your data may be communicated to any other party to whom the data must be transmitted based on an express provision of law.
Your personal data will not be subject to disclosure.
Your personal data may be transferred abroad, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation, including to countries outside the European Union where SIRP may pursue its own interests. The transfer to non-EU countries is carried out in such a way as to provide appropriate and suitable guarantees pursuant to Articles 46 and/or 47 and/or 49 of the GDPR.
The data concerning you will be stored for a period of time not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed.
In any case, if it is a consent given for the purpose of receiving newsletters and on the activities of SIRP, you may, at any time, request not to receive information and/or newsletters and your contact will be promptly deleted from the distribution list.
