The Italian Society for Pediatric Research (SIRP) is a medical society whose primary goal is to promote the culture of scientific research and the advocacy of health in the age of childhood.
Who it is composed of
The scientific society is mainly composed of university, hospital, family and community pediatricians, operating in various pediatric subspecialties. The society is open to pediatric trainees and non-pediatric doctors who share the same goals and objectives.
OBJECTIVES
The entire activity of the society is focused on some general aspects of primary interest:
- To encourage and support the quality and quantity of pediatric research
- To promote appropriate collaborations and synergies within the international and national community
- To interact with scientific environments that are not pediatric but related to childhood and adolescence;
- To facilitate and enhance investments to advance knowledge with potential impact on pediatric health
- To foster information, awareness and liason with the community and public institutions on pediatric health
EDUCATION
SIRP is committed to the following:
- Training to scientific research
- Drafting of systematic reviews and Consensus papers on specific areas of research
- Networking and industry partnership.
