Who we are

The Italian Society of Pediatric Research (SIRP), affiliated with the Italian Society of Pediatrics (SIP), has as its primary objective the promotion of scientific research and the advancement of child health. It is mainly composed of university, hospital, family and community pediatricians, from various pediatric subspecialties. There are also numerous non-pediatrician members who share the same goals and objectives.

Why become a member?

  • Complimentary registration to the SIRP Annual Conference.
  • Active participation in the Conference program and in webinars/workshops or other SIRP initiatives, with opportunities to present original research or participate by invitation.
  • Direct involvement in shaping SIRP strategies and leadership through membership in the Members' Assembly and voting rights in SIRP elections.
  • Promotion of research studies and participation in collaborative research groups.
  • Expansion of the SIRP network by recruiting new members from diverse research disciplines focused on child health.
  • Mentorship of early-career researchers aspiring to a career in pediatric research.
